Haiku for Thursday

It has been quiet a long time since I posted something on WordPress. This month long gap was because my creative muscles were out of exercise. I was a not finding that “something” which gets you pumped up for writing a new blog post.

I wanted to start every Monday that went by and my writing spark would die off soon.

So what happened then?

Each Monday passed and I did not log in to WordPress. That is why I am here. On a typically random Thursday.

I recently found that Ronovan at Ronovan Writes has created this poetry writing challenge. This challenge runs weekly and gives prompts for writing on every Sunday!

From the following Monday we can post our version for the prompts and simply ping back/ comment. This sounded really nice and easy to me.

So, I have decide to participate in this weekly challenge. I will be posting a Haiku on the prompts provided for the week.

Why a haiku?

I just want to say that I am a big fan of the Japanese poetry format. It has three lines with 5-7-5 syllable format. I am not very big poet or something but I like to learn new things and try different writing/ poetry formats.

Coming to the prompt of the week:

things fall into place,
every day the sun rises
bask in the glory

This is my take for the prompt of the week. Do check out other writers and take part if you would like to.

I will see you soon with another post. Take care and have fun!
